Whether you want to get the adrenaline pumping on some wild rides, get lost in nature or simply cool off in the ocean, you’ll never be short of fun things to do on the Gold Coast this school holidays.

Soak up the sun at our beautiful beaches

No Gold Coast holiday would be complete without spending a few days soaking up le soleil on some of our stunning beaches. The Gold Coast boasts a seemingly endless stretch of white sand hugged by the crystal blue ocean, from the iconic Surfers Paradise, to the laidback Burleigh Heads, and our very own Broadbeach just steps from the hotel. Most beaches in the area are patrolled for your safety (remember to always swim between the red and yellow flags), so all you need to worry about is claiming your patch of sand du jour, rolling out your towel and setting yourself to relaxation mode.

Experience true joie de vivre at our famous theme parks

A family favourite for the young and the young at heart, the Gold Coast’s famous theme parks are a holiday staple. At Warner Bros. Movie World you can meet all your favourite stars, Looney Tunes characters and DC superheroes, while enjoying thrilling rides, attractions and shows. Sea World boasts world-class marine exhibits featuring dolphins, seals, polar bears, penguins and more, as well as rides and The Reef at Castaway Bay – an aquatic adventure zone just for kids. Make a splash at Wet’n’Wild with 9 thrill water slides and 3 family slides, as well as a Giant Wave Pool, Calypso Beach lazy river and more. Dream World is Australia’s biggest theme park, boasting heart-racing rides, White Water World water park, a wildlife park and exciting live entertainment. With a playground for the little ones, lush lawn to laze on and a safe swimming beach all within a few metres, Kurrawa Park has it all, non?

Get back to nature at Tambourine Mountain
