At Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach, your health, safety and well-being is our top priority. We have introduced elevated hygiene and prevention measures to ensure your safety. The ALLSAFE label certification, developed with and vetted by Bureau Veritas, represents our new cleanliness and prevention standards and provide assurance that these standards have been met in our hotel.
CLEANING & SANITATION
Our reinforced cleaning program means that disinfection of public areas will be more frequent, with a focus on high touch areas such as the front desk, elevators, door handles and bathrooms. Our cleaning products meet Australian Department of Health standards, and our staff are trained to effectively carry out scheduled, regular sanitisation.
HAND HYGIENE, WIPES & MASKS
Australians are taking the necessary steps to keeping our country safe and we are too. Frequent hand washing should be second nature to all who visit the hotel. Guests and staff are also provided with individual sanitiser, wipes and masks upon request. Additional hand sanitiser is also distributed throughout the hotel, supplied in key public areas such as the front desk and the restaurant.
All guests will be provided with access to medical professionals, tele-medical support and a guest hotline for your peace of mind before, during, and after your stay. We focus on comprehensive staff health checks, with meticulous employee safety and hygiene training.
Social distancing of 4 square metres is advised in all public areas. Our restaurant will soon be taking bookings that comply with government regulations and practice social distancing through specially engineered floor plans, limited bookings, and set seatings. Our lobby and elevators are also limited in capacity, determined by square footage.
Our food and beverage teams have reinforced safety across restaurants, room service and food protocols. New precautionary measures across every aspect of food preparation, plating and service are taken very seriously. This includes staff hygiene through the use of sanitiser, masks and gloves, frequent disinfection of all surfaces, and a carefully devised socially distanced floor plan for limited bookings.
